Frequently Asked Questions

How can I buy tickets?

You can purchase tickets at our ticket booth on site. Or, you can buy tickets in advance from our website and print them from your computer. This will also save you time in the ticket line. Just walk up to our online ticket entrance. Online tickets must be traded for our tickets before 10 p.m.

What time can I buy tickets?

Tickets are sold from appr. 6:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. at the ticket counter. As long as you are in line to buy tickets by 10 p.m., you will be admitted. We don’t close the haunts until everyone has done everything they paid for.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover at the ticket counter. You can also buy online tickets on our Tickets page.

When is the best time to visit?

Early in the season is the least busy time. Friday nights are usually less busy than Saturday nights. Halloween night is usually our least busy night since many people are participating in other events.

Is Horror in the Hollow really scary?

Yes, our haunts are VERY scary. We love to hear our visitors (victims) scream! For “not scary” activities, choose the large corn maze by flashlight. (All children should be accompanied by an adult).

What age is this for?

Although you know your younger children better than we do, we do NOT recommend our haunted attractions for small children. Horror in the Hollow is designed for older children, teenagers, and adults. Our actors will give the same level of scare to all ages. The non-haunted large Corn Maze is a better choice for young children. (All children must be accompanied by an adult).

Who should not come?

You may be exposed to intense scenes, loud noises, fog machines, air blasts, strobe lights, and darkness. Also, some of the trails may be difficult to walk. We do not recommend our haunts for pregnant women, heart patients, persons with breathing problems, those prone to seizures, small kids, or cry babies!

Can I get a refund if it’s too scary for me?

NO CHICKEN OUT REFUNDS! No refunds will be granted because our haunts are too scary. You came to Horror in the Hollow to be scared, so being scared is not a good reason for a refund. However, unused tickets can be saved and used at a later date.

Will the monsters touch me?

Our policy is “Don’t touch us, and we won’t touch you”. However, in a dark haunt you could accidentally get bumped. Our actors are instructed not to grab, strike, or intentionally push you.

What about parking?

Parking is provided. On crowded evenings, an auxiliary parking lot will be opened so that no one parks on the street.

Are food and drinks available?

Yes, we will have plenty of food and drinks to choose from.

How do I get there?
